Clockwise from top: onion rings, lobster roll, (fried) clam basket.

The breading on the onion rings was thick, crunchy, and herbed. The onions did not pull out of the breading when bitten into. The clams were crispy on the outside, hot on the inside, full of clean clam flavor.

The lobster roll, prepared in classic Maine fashion. The lobster is cold and mixed with the slightest amount of mayonnaise. The roll is a top split hot dog roll, grilled with butter.

Close-up of the lobster roll. It was very fresh and sweet, what you'd expect from a place sitting on a dock.

If you ask for a "lobster roll without the roll," they'll prepare a lobster platter for a few dollars more.
