We went to check out our alpha waves in this semi-interactive exhibit.
You sit three at a time inside this bulbous object with disposable electrodes attached to your forehead and neck. In the first part of the exhibit, the UFO reads the electrical frequencies being emitted by the lobes of your brain and displays them on the ceiling in front of you. You can see how your partners brainwaves are doing. No, it does not know what you're thinking and project naked women on the screen.
In the second part of the exhibit, you view a very spacey and relaxing video that runs through several sequences. At times you feel like you're as small as a biological cell, a lava lamp, underwater looking up at the sun, and floating through space.

My brain waves were far from relaxed, so we could not create the "cohesion" ring where all of our brain waves were relaxed and uniform. John swore that the machine would either clone us or turn us into little energy pods, like in the Matrix. I thought the humming sound was the machine gently cooking the participants like a microwave.
Needless to say, we emerged in one piece.
